Job Summary

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive audience engagement. This role requires a creative and analytical professional capable of aligning social media activities with overall business goals and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities


Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives, target audiences, and brand positioning.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies to optimize the company’s online presence.

 

Content Creation & Management

  • Plan, create, and publish engaging and high-quality content (images, videos, reels, stories, and copy) across all relevant social media channels.
  • Ensure brand consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity across platforms.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to produce campaign assets.

 

Community Management

  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with online communities and influencers.
  • Manage customer feedback, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure brand reputation is upheld.

 

Performance Analysis

  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion, ROI) using platform analytics and reporting tools.
  • Prepare monthly reports and provide actionable insights for improvement.

 

Campaign Management

  • Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Optimize campaign performance through A/B testing and audience targeting.

 

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and design teams to align social media strategies with ongoing promotions and company initiatives.
  • Coordinate with partners, influencers, and content creators for collaborations and sponsorships.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing social media accounts for brands or agencies.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dhivehi proficiency is an advantage).
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong creativity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
